Episode 14: Cell Phone Policy Recap

May 11 2009

Cell Phone

We sum up our feelings on Liverpool’s new cell phone policy, and interview students and teachers for their views.

Sorry about the audio issues! A combination of using Skype for the podcast itself and doing interviews on a whim without our Snowball microphone impeded a bit into the quality. You’ll forgive us though, right? Right?

Welcome, Lifeguard Readers!

January 26 2009

LHS Warrior Mascot If you’re visiting our site after reading the latest issue of Liverpool High School’s newspaper The Lifeguard, thanks for stopping by! Nikki Papadopoulos, Chris Voll, and myself (David Owens) have been working on new episodes for Tada! since August, when we started the podcast. We talk about a lot of different things on the show, from crazy stuff (like Fergalicious) to more “serious” topics (like the pros/cons of a four day school week, or debating on whether homework really helps anyone).

For more information about the show, check out the about page or read our bios (although note they might be slightly exaggerated!).

Want to listen? There are a few ways to do so. You can subscribe to us in iTunes and listen to us on the go with your iPod. Or, if you prefer listening online, you can listen to any episode right on the Website by going to its show notes (scroll down further on the page for the episodes and their show notes).

Interested in being on or listening to  our upcoming live episode? Head to the live show section of the site to learn more.

We want to produce episodes that are interesting to you. If you have any ideas for episodes, topics, or segments, or want to give us comments or critique, feel free to e-mail us.

Thanks again to Josh Peelman for writing the article for The Lifeguard, and to Liverpool High School for being supportive of its students and their interests!

Be on Tada: talk about technology!

November 29 2008

Here are some questions to consider:

  • How is technology used in your life?
  • What devices (computer, cell phone, iPod, camera, etc.) do you use on a daily basis?
  • Which device do you favor most? How would your life be different without it?
  • How important, in general, is technology to you?

If you’d like to discuss any of these (or anything similar) on Tada!, we’d love to have you on the podcast! There are several options to get on:

  • Recorded at Liverpool High School (more details will be announced)
  • Recorded via Skype, telephone, or as an in-studio guest
  • Emails sent to tadapodcast [at] gmail.com
  • Comments left on this blog post or any posts in the series
